چکیده
Dynamical decoupling is a technique that protects qubits against noise. The ability to preserve quantum coherence in the presence of noise essential for developing devices. Here, Rigetti computing platform was used test different dynamical sequences single qubit. performance characterized by process tomography and analyzed using channels formalism. Pulse imperfections are shown here limit on Rigetti’s qubits. However, can be improved robust decoupling, i.e., experimental imperfections. tested outperformed previous same platform.

Scaling of dynamical decoupling for spin qubits.
We investigate the scaling of coherence time T(2) with the number of π pulses n(π) in a singlet-triplet spin qubit using Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) and concatenated dynamical decoupling (CDD) pulse sequences. For an even numbers of CPMG pulses, we find a power law T(2) is proportional to (n(π))(γ(e)), with γ(e)=0.72±0.01, essentially independent of the envelope function used to extract T(...

Quantum computers, which process information encoded in quantum mechanical systems, hold the potential to solve some of the hardest computational problems. A substantial obstacle for the further development of quantum computers is the fact that the lifetime of quantum information is usually too short to allow practical computation. A promising method for increasing the lifetime, known as dynami...

متن کاملRobust manipulation of superconducting qubits in the presence of fluctuations
Superconducting quantum systems are promising candidates for quantum information processing due to their scalability and design flexibility. However, the existence of defects, fluctuations, and inaccuracies is unavoidable for practical superconducting quantum circuits. In this paper, a sampling-based learning control (SLC) method is used to guide the design of control fields for manipulating su...
